Annual Conference

For 3 days, Canada's trade and consumer show industry came together at RBC Place in London Ontario to learn, network and celebrate CAEM's 40th Anniversary. From inspring keynotes featuring Michelle Ray and Michael “Pinball” Clemons, to an engaging Executive Panel to concurrent sessions focussed on sustainability, sponsorship and peer-to-peer learning, the 2023 Annual Conference delivered the education and tools members need to continue to rebuild and move forward.

Our social component began on Sunday evening with the CAEM Conference Kickoff Reception at RBC Place London where reuniting and catching up was the first priority! Our sponsors, RBC Place and Tourism London planned a wonderful evening with delicious eats and drinks.

On Monday night, The International Centre treated the group to one of London's top venues, the Toboggan Brewing Company where the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was electric.

To cap it all off on Tuesday night, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre hosted delegates at the exclusive London Hunt & Country Club as we celebrated 40 years of CAEM and bestowed Honoured Life Memberships on four very deserving industry leaders. Memories were shared and created in this gorgeous setting.

Finally, a special shout out to the volunteer Conference Committee who organized this wonderful event in record time.

2022 Conference Recap

After almost 3 years, CAEM’s marquee in-person event descended upon Hamilton, Ontario from June 26th to June 28th. The event was a true celebration of our vibrant industry as exhibition professionals from across the country reunited, engaged and connected.

From inspiring keynote speakers like Heath Slawner, Laura Cole and Peter Katz, to the buzz of connections being made at ExpoCAN, the 2022 CAEM Conference achieved its goal of delivering timely and relevant education as well as endless peer-to-peer neetworking opportunites. And that was just during the day! Our evening events did not disappoint and provided the perfect atmosphere to continue conversations and build relationships.
