PACK YOUR BAGS

In Edmonton, the summers are warm and comfortable, and the winters are brisk and dry.

No matter the season, there’s always plenty of sunlight! From June to August you can expect warm, dry days with up to 17 hours of sunshine.

GETTING INTO THE CITY

Skyshuttle provides transportation to and from the Edmonton International Airport or you can catch Route 747, a bus service from the airport to Century Park Station (where you can also catch the LRT).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Edmonton Transit provides extensive bus and light rail transit (LRT) services. The LRT provides fast and convenient service to 15 stops around the city. You can pay per trip or get a day pass.

GETTING AROUND

Most of Edmonton's streets and avenues are numbered, making it simple to locate addresses. Numbered avenues run east and west, the numbers going up as you go north, e.g. 103 Avenue is north of 102 Avenue. Numbered streets run north and south, the numbers going up as you go west. The centre of this numbering system, located downtown, is 100 Street and 100 Avenue.
