CAEM Spring Summit Recap

The 3rd Annual CAEM Spring Summit was held from April 23rd-24th, 2018 at the Quality Inn in Abbotsford, BC with a total attendance of 65 members and non-members which included 3 students!

Two CEM Courses, Floor Plan Development & Event Operations, were offered before the Summit began with many appreciating the opportunity to attend a CEM class in Western Canada. Those attendees that took part in the two pre-Summit activities raved about the chance they had to sturgeon fish on the Fraser River, while others enjoyed a picturesque canoe trip on Cultus Lake.

Networking during the evenings had a West Coast flair which included a tour of Chilliwack Heritage Park with a BBQ social as well as the rare experience of a traditional Native American Longhouse dinner complete with hoop dancers and drummers.
