The Landscape Shaping The Future of the Canadian Exhibition Industry

CAEM continues to help the industry navigate this challenging time and will be working towards research and advocacy for the exposition industry, as well as developing different programming options and events in order to continue equipping and empowering our members with valuable information and resources. In this time of uncertainty and change, CAEM has collaborated with Meetings Mean Business Canada (MMBC), Conventions Centres of Canada (CCC) and Informa Exhibitions Canada to bring you an update on the landscape of the industry. This includes how we are working together to aggregate data that reflects the economic importance and devastation of the exhibition industry, specifically where exhibitions are concerned. 

Working with our member organizations, we will draw local narratives and facts so politicians can understand how this has not only impacted our industry, but local businesses in various jurisdictions. CAEM wants to play a lead role in shaping what the reopening of the industry will look like, and what considerations need to be put in place from a health and safety standpoint so that consumer participation remains strong.
