2020 CAEM Annual General Meeting
The 2020 CAEM Annual General Meeting was set to take place on June 29, 2020 at the Annual Conference, which was cancelled due to restrictions on mass gatherings and requirements for physical distancing. However, we're pleased to announce that we will be hosting a virtual AGM that will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM ET through Zoom. Call for Board Nominations 2020-2021
Deadline: Friday, July 10, 2020
At the CAEM Annual General Meeting on September 16, 2020 a number of our Board of Directors terms will be up for election. To fill these positions we invite you to consider putting your name or that of a colleague forward to sit on the CAEM Board of Directors. As a national Board, we welcome nominations from across the country.
To assist you in this decision we ask that the nominee have the following characteristics:
- Has served as a CAEM committee member and/or chair.
- Is willing to commit time and effort (approximately 7 Board meetings per year, chairing or vice-chairing a CAEM committee or sub group, and, if possible, attendance at the Annual Conference).
- Accepts responsibilities wholeheartedly and fulfills responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner.
- Respects members and staff.
- Has demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Listens, takes duties seriously and is able to see through ‘CAEM’ eyes when considering issues affecting CAEM and the industry as a whole.
An invitation to the membership to submit nominations to the Board is provided below as a link. All nominations from the membership must be received at the CAEM office by Friday, July 10, 2020. The CAEM Nominating Committee will then develop a slate of officers and directors for approval by the membership.
