Our first honouree of this year’s Exposition Hall of Fame has distinguished themselves through more than two decades of leadership, innovation, and service to the Canadian exposition industry. As a senior executive responsible for some of North America’s most prominent trade exhibitions, they have played a pivotal role in growing event portfolios, strengthening international partnerships, and demonstrating the enduring value of face-to-face events as drivers of business, collaboration, and economic growth.

Beyond their professional achievements, this individual has generously dedicated their time and expertise to advancing the industry through service on the CAEM Board of Directors, participation on the Education and Conference Committees, and ongoing support of professional development initiatives. A Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation holder, they have shared their knowledge through industry presentations, podcasts, media interviews, and thought leadership articles, helping shape important conversations about the future of exhibitions and events.

Equally impactful has been their commitment to mentorship. Throughout their career, they have identified, developed, and championed emerging talent, opening doors for others and helping countless professionals build successful careers in the industry. Widely respected as a leader, mentor, and advocate, this recipient’s influence extends far beyond the events they have led, leaving a lasting legacy on both the profession and the people who will carry it forward.
