SEND A LETTER TO YOUR MP TODAY TO ENCOURAGE THEIR SUPPORT OF BILL C-2, WHICH INCLUDES THE TOURISM & HOSPITALITY RECOVERY PROGRAM
In our December 2 update, we shared the great news that the trade show industry was included in the proposed Tourism and Hospitality Recovery Program which was tabled as part of Bill C-2 in the House of Commons on November 24th. We explained at the time there was a risk the Bill might not pass prior to the Holiday break and that it could end up in Committee. Parliament is due to rise this Friday, December 17th for a 6 week break for the Holidays and as a result, the risk of Bill C-2 not passing, and with it the much needed relief our industry needs, is extremely high.
As a result we are asking you to send a letter to you MP to let them know how important this relief is to our industry. It will literally only take a minute to click the link and fill out the automated form to let MPs of all political stripes know that Bill C-2 is desperately needed by our sector. All politics is local, and every Member of Parliament needs to hear from our sector about the urgency of this legislation passing.
